Last minute ideas for Christmas

For today I’m making a selection of the dishes for Christmas. I’m revising the Christmas menu for this year today and it’s a perfect way to see what options I have that I didn’t think about.

04 Snowflake cookies with cinnamon
Snowflake biscuits with cinnamon, the one I made was huge, but a smaller size would be just as nice.

03-tudor-pie
This is the Tudor Pie I baked for GBBO and it was fab. I am thinking of baking a pie for Christmas this year, maybe with a different filling.

I love having fresh bread and I try to bake for all the important occasions.

Matcha and cocoa fruit loaf
This is a spin on a traditional Romanian dessert for Christmas: cozonac. It’s a matcha and cocoa sweet loaf.

Festive Wreath Doughnuts
These Wreath Doughnuts looked fab and they tasted fab too. I might bake another batch these days.

01 Smoked aubergines with yogurt
Smoked aubergines with yogurt, a easy and delicious starter. I usually make a smoked aubergine salad/dip sort of thing, it’s a good way to bring more veggies onto the menu.

04 Vegan mince pies with pineapple, coconut and figs
Mince pies, of course I had to include some mince pies. I’m making today the filling for mine.

08 Victorian Fruit Cake
Another must on the Christmas table is a Fruit cake. After making my own, I’m not going to buy them again, it’s a delight to make it at home. I feel like it adds to the Christmas feeling.

02-gingerbread-man
Gingerbread will be on my menu this year. It’s so relaxing to spend time decorating that I’ve included them in the menu.

Chesnut and Brussel sprouts
Chestnut and Brussel sprouts are a perfect side dish for Christmas.

I hope you like my ideas. Merry Christmas!
